Mark Mueller
Founder and President
Mark Mueller is a trial attorney recognized for his work in birth injury litigation and product liability cases involving damages from unsafe medical devices, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals, most notably the Transvaginal Mesh MDL. Mueller has also successfully represented the Brave Dog Society of the Blackfoot tribe in preventing oil and gas development in a pristine national wilderness area of Montana, and is now counsel for the Lakota Sioux Sundance Chiefs regarding ownership rights to sacred ceremonial objects.
A number of Mueller’s precedent-setting, high-profile cases have been featured in the national media, including, most notably, Oprah, Good Morning America, Special Insider Edition, The New York Times, Texas Lawyer, and National Law Journal. Mueller has also served as an executive and associate producer through his own production company, Voodoo Cowboy Entertainment, on independent films such as Downloading Nancy (Sundance Festival), Winter in the Blood, Slam Planet, The Two Bob’s, and Ed Brown’s environmental documentary, A New Resistance. Mueller was a featured speaker and panelist for Conscious Media Festival programs on topics of sustainability and creating positive cultural change, and he has written Unicorn Park, a children’s poetry book, as well as poetry anthologies Breakfast in Memphis Vol. 1: Universe Favors the Hero, Breakfast in Memphis Vol. 2: Midnight in the Desert, and Breakfast in Memphis Vol. 3: Colors of Love.
Dennise Castro
Vice President
Dennise Castro has been a special projects, trial consultant, and administrative/managerial level employee at Mueller Law since 2017. She has been involved with developing what is now Truth and Justice League since its early inception and was a key organizer and featured designer for the What If party in 2019. Originally from Southern California and currently an Austinite since 2010, she is bilingual (Spanish/English) and a dual citizen of Mexico and the United States. Prior to working at Mueller Law, she was the office manager for Lin Media’s corporate office in Austin, TX.
At a young age, Dennise aspired to become a district attorney for California. While in high school, she attended the Public Safety Internship Academy with The San Bernardino County Sheriffs for three years and obtained college credit towards an associates degree in Administration of Justice from Victor Valley College. Life events led to changes in her path, and her focus pivoted to the creative arts, such as fashion design, dance, and music. She has been a dancer for over 14 years and used to dance with a ceremonial Mexica (Aztec) danza group in Austin. She is currently taking online classes with Parsons School of Design and DJ lessons in preparation for launching Rainbow City Movement.
Rylie Riddle
Executive Assistant to Mark Mueller
Rylie is the Executive Assistant to Mark R. Mueller, Founder and President of Truth and Justice League. Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, Rylie moved to Austin in 2020 to pursue higher education.
Rylie graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2023 with honors in Psychology and Sociology and joined the Mueller Law and Truth and Justice League teams in September 2023. She has aided in projects such as the 2024 Truth and Justice League Launch Party, Mueller’s Breakfast in Memphis poetry anthology series, Truth and Justice League merchandise, and various advertising and marketing projects for Truth and Justice League.
Cassandra Noboa
Community Outreach
Cassandra’s professional journey spans over 17 years in education through teaching. She founded Naked Roots Botanicals, a line dedicated to mushroom and herb medicine. As a mother of two, Cassandra embraces a life rooted in the Travis County, Texas, countryside, where she raises her children. Her ultimate aspiration is to create an orphanage that provides a nurturing environment and new opportunities for needy children.
Ariel Schaefer
Environmental Investigator
Ariel joined Mueller Law in 2018, starting as a client manager and now serving as an investigator on the Toxic Avengers team. She contributed to one of Mueller Law’s first environmental cases in Tyler, Texas, which fueled her passion for making a difference. Though relatively new to the legal field, her background in the service industry and computer science gives her a unique perspective and a strong desire to make a difference.
Ariel’s love for nature drives her dedication to wildlife conservation, and she enjoys working on projects that protect mother nature. In her free time, she explores the Austin Greenbelt, swims in local watering holes, and plays WoW from time to time.
